All sizes are in inches, except railings and stair glass (feet). You need a tape measure and a notepad.
Shower doors
Width: measure the opening at the top, middle and bottom. Use the smallest number.
Height: from the finished floor or the curb to where you want the top of the glass.
Door + panel: measure the total opening.
Corner and neo-angle: measure each side separately and enter each one in its own box. Don't add them together.
Tub doors: the width of the tub ledge, and the height above the tub.

Mirrors
Width × height in inches.
Special shapes: use the widest width and the tallest height. The estimate is priced on the full width × height.
Glass railings & stair glass
Measure the total length of the run in feet.
Stairs: measure along the slope (the line of the stair nosings), not the flat floor distance.
Standoffs hold the glass with round metal fittings fastened to the side of the floor or stairs. A base shoe is a metal channel that holds the bottom edge of the glass.
Interior doors and office partitions
Measure the opening width × height in inches.
Office partitions: also enter the number of swing doors in the partition.
W: wall to wall. H: floor to ceiling. Then choose how many swing doors (0–10).
Glass thickness: we use 3/8" glass for frameless products. Mirrors are 1/4", and railings and wall/office partitions are always 1/2".
